Whether you have a Wok, Fryer, Combi oven or just a 4 Burner oven, if it’s a Commercial Gas appliance then it must be checked on an annual basis by a reliable Gas Safe engineer.  The Gas Safety Regulations 1998, Regulation 35, states that the owner is the responsible person to ensure that any gas appliance, installation, pipe work or flue is maintained in a safe condition.

This means that owners must ensure that gas equipment is properly installed, commissioned and maintained by an appropriately qualified Gas Safe engineer.  If you are visited by your local authority or Health & Safety officer you will be required to supply paperwork proving this.
